*This is a monthly call held the second Monday of the month.

As we push to get our Congressional Representatives to cosponsor The We the People Amendment, House Joint Resolution (HJR) 48 ( So far Congressman Derek Kilmer in the 6th Congressional District, Congresswomen Pramila Jayapal in the 7th, Congresswoman Susan DelBene in the 1st, and Adam Smith in the 9th, have all signed on to HJR 48, which is almost of our Representatives. We have work to do to get the rest of our delegation to sign on.

There is not yet a Senate companion bill, but we predict one being introduced soon. We need to put pressure on our Washington State Senators Murray and Cantwell, and ask them to co-sponsorship a We the People Amendment, which would be a companion bill to HJR 48.
